POLKADOODLE - Challenge No.48

Theme:  - Lots of Sparkle

For this weeks challenge I have gone completely glitter bonkers.  I have added glitter to the Snowman, die Frame and tree background scene with various Stickles glitters and even added a few sparkling gems for extra measure!

The items I have used are the Christmas Frosty the Snowman - Clear Stamp Set  and the Baubles and background papers from Winnie White Christmas BIG KAHUNA DOWNLOAD KIT - digital printables  at Polka Doodles.

The background Birch tree scene was created with Copics markers and was a technique available at Sandy Allnock on line Art classes.

Please pop over to the Polkadoodles Challenge here and take a look at the DT's samples.  Hope to see you there!

POSTBOX

This is an old wooden stamp I don't know which brand.  For this project I used watercolour traditional palette paints and watercolouring pencils.  I used a flower die for the sentiment and added some gingham trimmings.

Wintery Scene

This is another of the Sarah Kaye polymer stamps.  I've had this stamp several years and never got around to stamping her up.  I used my Copic markers to colour her.
I've kept the card quite simple, I used a large Spellbinders die and a flower die to cut the sentiment.  The backing papers are from Kanban.  I finished the card with a couple of crystal gems.

Another Card for Christmas

This is a Sarah Kay stamp that I felt needed to be inked up in time for Christmas.  Again as in my previous post I created the background with Copic markers which was a technique of Sandy Allnocks.  Please see my previous post if you want to find out more about her courses.
The rest of the card has been left pretty simply.  I have used a piece of silver card for created the matting and a couple of dies from my stash.  Unfortunately they are no longer in their packaging so I have no idea who's dies they are!

Christmas Card

For this project I tried out one of Sandy Allnock copic Wintery background scenes.  For more information on how to create Wintery background with just copics markers you can find her site here.

I used one of Mo Manning's polymer stamps called Siku and Shiya.  I coloured the image with Copic markers and used a frame die cut from my stash (can't remember the name or make) for the frame.  I used a flower die to frame a sentiment I found in my stash.

    Theme:  Winter/Christmas

Here is my sample for this weeks Challenge over at Polkadoodles Anything goes challenge.  The theme for this card is Winter/Christmas and I have used this gorgeous Winnie image from the White Christmas BIG KAHUNA Kit.  I have also used one of the backing papers from the same set.  The items can be purchased here from Polkadoodles.

I also added some Silver cardstock and used a Rectangle Spellbinders die.  I have used my Copic markers to colour this project, below are the colours used including a couple of sparkle and white gel pens.

    POLKADOODLES - Challenge No: 45

Theme:  White with a hint of Colour

This is my first card for Polkadoodles and I've enjoyed playing with the WINNIE WHITE CHRISTMAS KAHUNA download kit.  I used the Winnie sledging digi stamp from that kit.  Here is the link to the shop and items used in creating this project.

I've kept it simply and tried to keep to the theme of WHITE with a hint of colour by only colouring part of the stamped images.  I used copic markers and a glitter pen as my choice of medium for this project.

Why not check out the other DT samples and find out what they've been busy creating this week here.  I hope to see your creation there.
