LADYBUG CRAFTS CHALLENGE

This month's challenge at Ladybug Crafts is to use the Colour Blue and I have chose to make a Note book for this challenge.

I made this book from hardbook and covered with a cereal box cardboard to give it is flexibility to open and close. Nightmare but worth the effort! Having worked out the style of the note book I had great fun in designing and playing with this gorgeous image from A DAY FOR DAISIES called VOILETS IN MY HAIR.

I had to admit that it did take me quite a long time to come up with the papers and design I liked - I hope you like to the finished result as much as I do!

Micro beads were added for extra texture.

Techniques:

Medium: Copics, Micro beads, pva glue (for faux pearls in her hair)

Papers: Kaban papers

Dies used: Flower punch, frame die

Embellishments: Various flowers, Pearls swirls, Pearls, feathers
